After school cookery clubs

Cookery clubs in schools offer the opportunity for children to not only do something fun while learning new skills, but it also gives them a positive ending to their school day, which in turn sends them to school  with confidence and pride in their achievements.

I have been running a cookery club at The Priory Primary school in Wimbledon for 5 years and both the Key stage 1 and Key stage 2 clubs run with waiting lists every term.

We make lots of different dishes, alternating between savoury and sweet, and have great fun along the way!

I also deliver the Lets Get Cooking club, which is a government funded initiative through The Children’s Food Trust  encouraging children and their families to eat more healthily. It is now the largest national network of healthy cooking clubs in the country.   www.letsgetcooking.org.uk
